My Pokemon Sun Team

Image
I talk about Skylanders a lot, so people might not know that I'm also a huge Pokemon nerd. My favourite region ever is the Alola region from Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. It's been my favourite since my playthrough of Sun. Today I want to share with you the team I used in this game.     Incineroar     Don't tell him I said this, but Incineroar is probably my least favourite of all the Alolan starters. Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but Incineroar... he's something alright. Despite this, Litten and Torracat are two of my favourite Pokemon ever. So I decided it was worth having those two briefly even though I'd have to fully evolve it. To be honest, he's kind of grown on me since.     Toucannon     This one was originally a placeholder team member, I was going to use a different flying type. I only picked up a Pikipek because it's an early route bird and I needed a bigger team. But I honestly fell in love with it. I wouldn't say she

My Frustration With Trap Team

Image
From what I can see online, it seems like the majority of the Skylanders community really loves Trap Team. I can understand why. I've never played it myself, but the mechanic of trapping villains inside of traptanuim crystals is one I really want to try out. So when I saw the version of the game for Wii at my local game store, I had to pick it up.     At this moment, the only portal I had was the one that was released with Swap Force and Imaginators. As cool as this portal is, I knew it wouldn't work for Trap Team because of the lack of a crystal slot. So I searched through their bin of portals and found the Rift Engine portal, which does have this slot. So I picked it up, along with a few Skylanders. One of which was Snap Shot so I'd have a trap master to play as, and they unfortunately didn't have any traps, so I checked out and left.     I had done very minimal research on portals at this point. I knew that Trap Team had its own portal, and that the one I had p

Skylanders I Want Someday

My Skylanders collection is growing at a rapid pace, but there's still many I would love to have that I unfortunately haven't come across yet. This is a general list of some such Skylanders.     Short Cut     Short Cut is a Trap Master introduced in Trap Team. He is the undead element, and uses a giant pair of traptanium scissors as a weapon. I love characters with a chaotic energy around them, so its no wonder why I want to be able to play as Short Cut.     Enigma     Sticking with the theme of the Trap Masters, next on the list is one of the magic element, Enigma. He attacks with a traptanium staff, and while I think he would be fun to play as, I kind of want him for his design more. I mean, look at him. And his figure is even better.     See?     I also think his backstory is unique, and a fitting background for a character is really important to me.     Wildfire     Ok I know all of these so far are Trap Masters. I swear I'll be done with them soon, it's just

Top 5 Favourite Skylanders

Image
Does anyone play Skylanders anymore? I mean, the last game came out way back in 2016. I'm sure everyone has fond memories of playing one of the games with friends or family, but it's 2024 now. It's not even on any newer consoles, it couldn't possibly still have fans.     Wrong. I still play Skylanders.     My collection isn't the largest, by any means, but I still have a decent amount. I want to go through some of my favourites. The hardest part of all of this was narrowing it down to just five. So here we go. First off, in no particular order, we have...      Boom Bloom     My first Skylanders game was Imaginators, so because of that all of my first Skylanders were Senseis. I got the Enchanted Elven Forest pack at one point, which came with the adventure pack, an air Creation Crystal, and of course, Boom Bloom. She was my favourite from the day I first saw her. She is a life element from the ninja class, and I don't expect any Skylander to ever live up to
